DESCRIPTION:Via Bohemia Classic \nBohemen is een authentiek romantische en tijdloze bestemming\, waardoor het de perfecte achtergrond vormt voor onze klassieke auto’s. Ze vloeien naadloos samen met de charme van Tsjechië\, een land met talloze kastelen en historische kuuroorden waar de rijken en beroemdheden ooit genoten van ritjes vergelijkbaar met die wij zullen maken. \nOnze reis begint in het betoverende Karlovy Vary\, ook bekend als Karlsbad in het Duits. Al sinds de 19e eeuw staat deze stad bekend om zijn vele thermale bronnen. Het kuuroord aan de rivier heeft elegante colonnades\, de thuisbasis van de indrukwekkende Pramen Vřídlo-geiser\, die wel 12 meter hoog kan spuiten. \n \nWij heten u welkom bij een toonaangevend Tsjechisch bedrijf waar de oude ambacht van het glasblazen tot een ware kunst is verheven. Dit bedrijf is gunstig gelegen ten opzichten van het Grand Hotel\, waar de rally op zondagochtend van start gaat. \nNaar het zuiden gaan we kort de grens over naar Duitsland om vervolgens weer Tsjechië binnen te gaan. Onze bestemming is het kasteel Hluboká\, waar wij overnachten in de historische voormalige administratieve gebouwen. De volgende ochtend verkennen we het prachtige kasteel alvorens onze reis voort te zetten\, door bossen en velden\, langs Praag\, over het Krkonoše-gebergte\, kort door Polen en terug in het bergachtige gebied van Noord-Bohemen. \nOp de zevende dag wacht ons een bijzondere verrassing. Net wanneer je denkt dat je alles hebt gezien\, is er meer. Werkelijk verbluffend! \nDe daaropvolgende dag is ook weer schitterend\, wij rijden over de bergen langs de Poolse grens\, terug naar ons startpunt in Karlovy Vary. We raden ten zeerste aan om uw verblijf in deze prachtige stad te verlengen en misschien wat te winkelen in de vele mooie winkels. \nZoals altijd bij de rallies georganiseerd door Via Flaminia\, is dit een ontspannen rally waarbij de competitie de sfeer dient; winnen is geen doel op zich. Degenen die onderweg koffie willen drinken\, kunnen dat doen. Geen tijdrestrictie. Natuurlijk verwachten we u op tijd voor de lunch en het diner. De classificatie gebeurt op basis van navigatie\, en de competitie voor de laatste plaats is soms hevig. \nOok is het mogelijk om mee te doen in de zogenaamde smile klasse\, u krijgt dan de route voor op uw smart phone. \nEr zijn 30 plaatsen beschikbaar voor auto’s tot 1980.

De route is uitgezet door niemand minder dan meervoudig Nederlands kampioen Jürgen Donders\, die al zijn kennis en ervaring heeft gebruikt om een prachtige rally samen te stellen door de omgeving van zijn eigen achtertuin in Poeldijk.
